Agsy is the only female rapper who can rap in Hindi, English, and Punjabi in India. She was a contestant on MTV Hustle season 1 and has a unique place in the desi hip hop scene.
Agsy Career starting fact
She started singing at the age of 10 and has learned classical music for a short time.
Talking about her stage name ‘Agsy’ and how she chose the name for herself, Agrita tells that Agsy was her alter ego. She further adds-
“Agsy is a whole new persona with a different attitude than Agrita. Rap helped bring out much more confidence in me. Made me introspect and be clear with my thoughts. That’s not what Agrita ever was. So, this new person needed a name. Alas, AGSY!”
In 2019, Agsy was featured in the music video of the song titled ‘Mera Josh Mahaan,’ which was a part of the World Cup 2019 campaign by Red FM India. She sang it along with the leading Indian playback singer, Divya Kumar.
She started her YouTube Channel on 11 March 2016. She uploaded the first video of her performance in March 2016, which was of a college event.
She has collaborated with many artists such as T-Jay and Muhfaad including the Indian Playback singer, Divya Kumar.
